A guy I used to know in Murrels Inlet SC had one YEARS ago...built like a tank...that was pre-'84, but I guess they continued to make a TUFF hull...if it was in good shape, I'd buy one... ;)...

I have a budy with a 80 something Ox, Nice boat!! But the floor in front of the CC over the gas tank was soft as hell and there is no access panal for it. So he had to cut the deck to replace the floor.

RAP, have'nt heard any late updates from Skools on the OX...last I saw ,there were bushes and weeds growing inside that hull and a giant cinder block bashed thru the floor. Skools will whip that boat into ship shape real quick

My Brother worked for a Sea OX dealer many years ago (Perry's Boat Yard - Monument Beach). He raved about the ride of 25 and 26 cuddy (bluewater). The 23ft cuddy didn't have as sharp a "V" and the ride was much worse than the 25 or 26.
They also made a 18/20/23/25ft center consoles and I heard the 23ft CC had a real issue with floors getting soft . . . Not sure about the other models. I really liked their 20ft Dual Cosole (200 D) . . . Great Fishing Boat.

Yeap it's a 1977 19'3" Sea Ox CC i'm redoing built like a German Tank.

I went and looked at a 1984 Sea Ox 18 ft dual console, the boat was in beautiful condition but the motor was overheating while on muffs. The guy tried to tell me that all motors overheat on muffs and that its not a problem. Needless to say I didnt buy it. However the price was right $2500 with a galv trailer.
