Default Started my new job today!

I believe I'm gonna like it. I'm working on RADAR sites in Atlantic, NC. They are used to simulate threats to pilots as they do bombing ops in the area. We also have a remote bombing range with RADAR sites that we tend and the only way to get there is by boat. The company boats are 25' Parkers with twin 200 hp Yammy 4 strokes. We took a ride out there today, man those are some nice riding boats, I had a big ole smiley face the whole way ;D

years ago I used to go to camp near there, we used to sail down the Neuse near the range, we could here the jets, then look over in the direction of the range( still several miles away) and see the cloud of dirt coming up from the swamp from the practice bombs.

beautifull area around there, been years since I was there, probably changed alot

I bet it hasn't. I've never been past Harkers Island before, but once you go past the turn for HI, it doesn't look like time has done much to the area. Maybe towards the waters edge, but not right on 70. I love the drive. There's something about looking out over a salt marsh and the open water.

Not sure of the model numbers, I'll get back to ya on that. They both have cabins on them, one cabin is bigger than the other.

I guess I'll have to break bad and get qualified on em too, dang the bad luck ;D

BOSS: Why are you putting fishing rods on the Parker?

FRAYED: UUUUHHHHHHHHH.........Oh I uh, I dropped some tools in the water last time out, I was gonna try to snag them with a Crystal Minnow.

BOSS: I'd better go supervise this op.

FRAYED: Grab that cooler on the way down the dock, would ya?

;D
