Default 9.9 Yamaha

I've been looking for a small kicker I can put on the back and I found a 9.9 yammie 4 cycle for $800 clean. How am i gonna match it up with my 200 johnson 2 cycle. Two separate fuel containers. Anyone match a 2 cycle main with a 4 cycle kicker.

If you are permixing for the johnson then you will need a 2nd tank.
But if you are using the injection for the johnson it doesn't matter as they both use stright gas.

You can eaither split the line and go to the 9.9 or you can get a two tank spliter and use it in reverse.

I had the same combo (9.9 Yammi 4st. with 200 Evinrude)) on my Grady. Like MJ stated, I was oil injected for the main motor, so I installed a Brass Tee Valve in the fuel line to re-direct the gas to the kicker motor. When done, just switch it back. Easy. ;) ;D
