Default Need to find a replacement hatch

I have an 86 V20 that is missing the starboard side hatch that covers those lovely storage bins on the transom......any clue where to get one?

Wellcraft no longer has them . Unless you can find one on a junked boat you will have to have one made . I have a friend who broke his had new hatches made out of teak . They turned out very well .

I was afraid of that.....Teak wouldn't be too bad I guess. Would you happen to have a picture of it so I could get an idea?

Parrot,

Make it out of 1/2 in thick starboard and route out channels in the underside of the lid to allow it to close flush.

I have one lid that is cracked and ready to break in half.

Yeah, I know....but I like how it looks as does the wifey. I am going to try the epiphane's varnish on it, if it doesn't last out it goes....
