Default SCUPPERs AGAIN

OK ,who has an idea of what I need to stop backflow into my scuppers? I cant use and dont want the ping pong ball scupper valves. (My scuppers drain out the sides of the hull)

Is there an internal valve or flapper that exists? Worse comes to worse, I'll plug em if I have to.

West and BW both sell a small round flapper scupper that works out well. PM your address to me again and I'll send ya a couple to try. I've got two hanging out in the garage collecting dust. 8)

F1, if CB's flappers don't work out, I was on a boat recently that has in-line back-flow valves in the hose that runs from inside to the outside...having the old style hull, I don't know if there's space to install these or not and don't know where to get 'em, but they gotta be somewhere...I can start lookin' around if you like... ;)...

Let me know how that works out. When I've got a full load I sometimes plug 'em, but I don't really like doing that.

Here is one I found and so far its working out it still lets some water in but not bad. Had to enlarge the holes and reseal in the back corners. If you want more details let me know. Ive got a 84 cuddy and the dranins are below water level. One thing i didnt do is double clamp the hoses might go back and do it. Pain in the *** to reach down in the hole and work.
