Default ytrying to winterize

last Sat. was my target day to winterize, ended up working 1/2 the day so Iwas only able to get the boat up on blocks. Got a little snow, 2-3" so that fouled me as well. The full enclosure was still on so there was only snow in the stern, which is now ice. I took down the top and curtians late this afternoon and threw a temporary tarp on for now as we are supposed to get possibally 6" late tonight. The top is now in my garage "defrosting"....using the cuddy heater one last time....there was a thin layer of ice encrusted on the top canvas.Hopefully I can get to the motor and a more stable tarp set-up by the weekend....supposed to get near 40 degrees....hey TinMan, you busy this weekend? Not having this done has got me in a bit of a "fester"....just wish I had all tucked away already....can't wait till next season

looks like I'll get it done today, most of the "significant snowfall" we were supposed to get on Friday turned over to rain, and today it's gonna get up to or above 40*. I don't pay much attention to the "7 day forecast", but it looks like milder temps. later in the week...don't worry WILLY, your heat wave fast approaches. Good luck.

got close enough to 40 for me,in fact w/o any wind it felt like spring...almost...anyway got all ice and snow out of the boat, mostly ice, and was able to button up the motor for its winter nap. Tomorrow will be the cover and thats it, an end to not my best fishing season, but, a great first boating season w/ the mighty V
