Interesting "step" design there...wonder if that's to prevent banging or spray or both ???

According to my brother, ( he is head of engineering for Pursuit) it cuts the surface tension of the water, faster on plane and under way!!

The steps eliminate DRAG and actually create LIFT...as your boat moves thru the water, water pushes UP as it comes from under the boat...same thing happens behind each step on that hull...what space behind each step that's not being pushed up is filled w/air=no drag...

That's sure a wave-BUSTER of a bow, too!!.... 8)...
