Default Are the gas prices going stop your fishing??

On the radio I was listing today, they said there should be no problem with gas hitting $3.00 this summer!

What if anything is this going to do to your fishing??

I think as long as I am in to the fish making a buck I will be fine.
But if I am not selling, I am going to have it on the4 trailer more them not *:-/

It won't affect me other than cost me more money. The way I look at is, I only really use the boat for 4 months out of the year. So in those precious 4 months of mostly weekend boating I intend to use the boat how ever I want without fuel usage affecting my decisions. The boat spends 8 months a year not burning any gas while sitting on the trailer. Don't get me wrong, I'm not happy with fuel prices but I can't see anything keeping me from boating.

I don't think it will. There are several hot spots within 4 miles of the ramp. If I didn't fish a round of golf would cost $35 or more. What ever you play you'll have to pay. I wish I had shares of Exxon they are going to have record profits again. Bill Mc ;D

I would love to see it come down!!

But I havwe to diagree with you on this one!

They have been wanting us to pay for years!! And they have been preping us since last summer for the $3 mark!!

I will bet that when we hit the $3 mark it will level off and and stay there or around there for a long while.

Exxon/Mobile made 10 BILLION in PROFITS the last 3 months of 2005...something is seriously wrong here. Someone needs to give Bush A BJ so he will get impeached:)

I've got one hobby that's fishing so I have to go no matter what my tow vehicle burns 3 times more than the boat on a trip :(

IT may slow me down a little, may mean a few more trips in the small boat, but I'm still goin.

I think that your right Joe , $3 is going to be here for a while . As for the oil co's they are only going to let it go so high as we will convert to something else . Bush is anything but my hero , but what can he do short of grabbing the oil in Iraq . ( fine with me ) I'm just going to have to pay the price and slow down. It sucks ! but I'm not sitting on the dock......
