Default Minimum setback for E-Tec 150

Anyone able to tell me the minimum setback for a transom bracket when hanging the E-Tec 150?

I don't have an engine anywhere in the county to measure.

I would think any of the guys w/E-Tecs could measure it for you...except maybe Lumberslinger...Hey Slinger ...didja ever work out that problem w/ Clarence and those rod-holders??

Wonder if Evinrude has that number for you??...have you tried their site??... ;)

Or better yet one (or ten) of the bracket mfgrs ... tell 'em ya got the motor and need to know what set-back to order ... ;)

My bracket is an 18" and I could put a 150 on it if I wanted to (and could afford it ;))
The motor fully tilted 115 Johnson

the 150 will not work on an 18" set back they have a deeper and taller hood than your 115 the 150's up need at least 27" to full tilt and have clearance.

Here is the only picture I have of my 150 E-Tec tilted fully forward sorry it's not from the side. When the bench seat is in place it does not come close to touching it. Billy Mac ;D

What he needs Mac is the measure from the cowling to top of motor, so that when he tilts it up on a bracket he can tewll how far away from the trasom he needs to be.

I'm back home now so I can't get that measurement. What I'm showing here is that with it tilted all the way up it doesn't go past the splash well if somebody knows the width of the splash well? Billy Mac ;D
