Forget polishing - *I have a hard enough time just keeping my boat clean. Boat gets parked under a few trees in my yard. *Have a mooring cover to keep the cockpit clean - *but havent gotten a tarp for the rest yet. *(I know I know - get a plastic tarp for cover !!) Leaves, pollen, bird crap, dirt - * you name it ... *all seem to dirty the boat. * The worst is the bow deck .... with the bumpy, textured finish. * The dirt really seems to get trapped there. * * Anybody have some kick-*** cleaners to recommend that work well for this ? * Thanks, *B

I have found that soft scrub with bleach seems to work as good as anything.

I had the meantioned on my deck and just sprayed some citris Zep on it and pressure washed it.
![]() Very bad stains like rust and years of scum on the side use muratic acid, BE VERY CAREFUL. And now that you got it clean be sure and wax, even if it's a cheap liquid.

I use Castrol SuperClean, it comes in a purple bottle. I use that stuff on everything from my ATV's to my truck and even the V-20. Just have to be careful to only do small sections at a time because you don't want to let that stuff sit for too long. It does work great and no scrubbing needed, spray on let sit for a couple of mintues then hose off.
