Default conversion from IB/OB to Outboard

Has anyone here tried to convert form inboard/outdrive to an outboard? If so can you message me or guide me to some threads with pictures. I like the space with the motor removed from the middle of the boat.

I'm always looking to get into trouble.....

Not sure about the build thread but my CC was converted some time ago. I LOVE IT!!! Completely changed the way that boat fishes and performs for the better

So, I'm curious. Would the bracket addition onto an existing OB make enough of a difference to warrant the conversion?

The bracket is so you don't have to go and cut the transom to accommodate an outboard engine. (Bad idea) Also, since many brackets are also flotation devices, the extra weight of the outboard hanging further back is somewhat negated by the extra flotation. (good idea)

Once I switched to the 4-stroke I did sag a touch in the back. Maybe an inch at the most. But the way the hull seats itself whe runnin made a huge difference. The boat doesnt want to leap out of the wave when runnin in a head sea and Ive yet to have a following sea this thing doesnt just run the hell out of. I was in a solid 3' following sea the other day runnin 30+ comfortably while the contender to my south was falling in and out of plane. I love the way it handles now. Much better with a touch more weight in the back
