Default Came home last night, boat was painted!

Took a chance on a guy from Craigslist who said he would come and lightly sand and paint the bottom for $200. Although I think it could have been sanded smoother, the paint looks pretty good! I went with pettit vivid white, it was previously blue. He pretty much used the full gallon. He probably saved me a weekend or two if I did it myself, nevermind back pain...

"I think" it's because the white will show algae\growth more than the other colors for boats that are moored\docked for lengthy times. But then I don't see much "green paint" either...

that paint has copper in it, it will look white for a few months, but it will start to turn green around the water line, I've seen light grey used and it stays grey for a good while, looks good on a white boat, especially if you separate it with a boot stripe

Mine being a trailered boat, I am thinking/hoping it shouldn't go green...we'll see.

OK:
