Default Pivoting Cantilever Anchor Roller

I am considering installing one of these over the winter. Have any of you guys ever installed or used one? I was also thinking about going a size larger so I would not have to build a pulpit.

We put a bow roller on a previous boat (Parker 2120). However it wasn't a cantilever roller design. We had to fill in the hole where the nav lights were located and add separate red and green lights on each side of the bow roller. We had to extend the wiring to reach the new lights. We put a piece of 1/4 " aluminum for a backing plate. Notice the piece of cardboard with a string running through it in the very front of the bow. I had to do that to keep the filler material from dropping through the hole were the nav lights were. No way to get my hands up in there to hold it.

Default Yes to the anchor roller...

Check out this thread, an oldy but goody. Hammer and I both did these and mine is still holding up well. I did tweak it a little one time when trying to pull out my wreck anchor, but no harm done.

Thanks Air, that is a good thread, I have read that quite a few times. I thought about building the whole pulpit but I think I am going to see if I can get away with just the Anchor roller for now. I still need to get a decent livewell installed and some other odds and ends done this winter. I will get some pics up after I get started.
