OK, time for another update and a fresh round of pics ;D
Here is the cleat. *For me, it has to go on the pulpit, as with the hatch open there is no more room:
As for my mounting location, its fine. *I tried 3 different anchors and all clear the boat fine. *If there is a clearance problem, it will be the bow rail as the anchor self launches. *Here are a couple anchor pics. *8# danforth, 13# danforth, and my wreck anchor.
If you look at the lenght of the three differnet anchors, it looks like I may not be able to use the tensioner that I have. I may have to go with a locking pin type. In a perfect world, the pulpit would be about 4" longer, but I'm very satisfied with the way things are going.
