				 Re: Sea Sickness

Hey Tunahead, Alaska rocks, I would love to go back sometime.
I arrived in Ketchikan 1 week before the Exxon Valdez ran aground. Needless to say, I spent some time in the Valdez area after that. No cleanup, just helping to make sure the Coast Guard radars were operating correctly.

The trip I was talking about with the rough seas was about 2 years after the oil spill, I was temporarily assigned to the USCGC Mustang out of Seward. We were taking civilian inspectors to the areas of the spill so they could do their thing. We had about 20 of them on board. The smart ones were on the bridge so they could see the horizon, the rest were puking everywhere they could down below. Our Gunners Mate came up on the bridge with a huge green cigar and a can of sardines. As soon as he popped the lid on the can, all the rest of the civies were puking. Funniest crap I have ever seen.
