I don't know about the dulling, I just put my on a couple of weeks ago, but they do tell you to reapply 1-2 coats each year to maintain the shine as with anything it will wear off over time. I ordered mine off the internet. It was about 65 dollars with the stain remover cleaner and New Glass2. comes with all the applicaters and scrub brushes. No complaints so far.
