Nope, no lookey anymore. *I've committed to the "girl I brung to the dance." *When I was hot to trot, I couldn't find a V-21. *I got to thinking about a few things. *I know my boat inside and out. *Took me 5 years to get where I am now, no need to start over again.
There is one big trade-off that I was willing to make, then changed my mind. *The deck in the V-21 is high and stays dry. *That's what I wanted. *The trade-off comes in the area of gunnel-height. *The V-21 hits me below the knee, my V-20 hits me above the knee. *Big difference (to me) in saftey fishing in the ocean solo, which I do a fair amount of. *The added depth of the old style (mines an 87) convinced me to keep what I got.
So now that I've decided to keep it, I'm spending a little to gussy her up a bit. *You know, things like new enclosure and better brakes. ;D
