I have a 1983 V-20 CC which sunk about 4 years ago and the engine a 1994 150 johnson and is still running strong. With the repairs that we needed to do I decided to replace my transom myself at the same time. It was not that bad of a job and we made the repair by taking the boat apart and replacing from the inside. While the boat was apart it gave me good time to check the stringers and everything else which is under the flooring.
