Re: well here she is!
hmm..hopefully that does the trick!...got a few things to do before i get to that part though.... i was just looking at it ..it seems like it was rebuilt before...seems like the powerhead was painted and there is a "020" stamped right above the V4 on the back of it right under that round plug thing.....i pulled the plugs and 3 of them was totally clean....i'm thinking water getting in a steam cleaning them?..the bottom right was black and oilyish...i guess i wont know till i get a comp check done on it....
to do that i need to mount it on my stand ..which i need to modify a bit....then i need a lifting eye...hows much do these run and what is best place to get them?...next once its mounted i got to figure out how to turn it over without a wiring harness/key..any ideas?...what is the best manual for this motor to get me started..cylmers or seloc? eventually i'll get a manf. service manual.
also..i dont see a oil tank, he gave me one but i dont think its for this motor..its too big to fit anywhere on it.....is this a VRO? or is it a mix ya oil and gas type?..i have a full tank of gas that is mixed...hate to throw it out....also kinda like the safety of knowing there is oil in gas.
looks like i might be in for some work with this motor lol but i guess for the price i can afford to put some cash into it and i got all winter to tinker with it.
