The bigger motors have lower gear ratios and spin the shorter pitch prop faster. You still get more speed for a given engine rpm even though the pitch of the props are the same.
If the gear ratio of the 225 and 150's are the same and the 150 guys are running a 17, then I would run a 19. If you have a lower gear ratio than the 150's, I would stick with a 17.
