I have a working boat so pretty is not in it name!! Gel coat goes on real thin but it is very hard and flexable.

Yes marine tex is a two part and mixes well and does a real nice job!! I have used a bunch around my boat and it makes a great strong repair! Easy to use! Just make sure you make it close to what you want!! It is kind of tuff to sand. When hard you can drill or what ever you want to do with it
