Your right Joe, and I would be too if I were a teenager again.
But I am on the other side of learning what my time is truely worth. I turn the key and this motor runs, no poking, no prodding, no wondering if it will blow up this trip or next.
I will be the first to admit, I am very lucky to be able to have a new motor. I can also tell you, the time horsing around with an old POS is not where I want to invest the time I have. It is, a matter of priorities. No one wants to spend more than they have to. I never thought I would spend $40,000 on a corvette, but I did once. I have learned a lot since then. I will not loose as much on this motor as I lost on that damn corvette.
The seats are recovered, new fuel sender is in. Time for another round of pictures, .... next time I pull pots.
