Well Reel, your right I am a lucky guy.
I live on the sail boat here in Marathon, when I am not sailing.
The dinghy just does not cut the local conditions, and if you ever caught a kingfish in an inflatable boat you know what I mean. It becomes a deflatable quickly. The V20 is not 'the' tender, but one of them.

A kid in Key West had this boat for sale for a while, but every time I tried to look at it the price went up. Finally he ran it aground and packed the motor with white clay mud and cooked it. He called me the next day and told me he needed money and he really needed to sell the boat. He put a new waterpump in the old Johnson and I was dumb enough to buy it. To its credit the Johnson ran for a while, then one day started puking what looked like vanilla milkshake. Rest is soon to be history.

RIB, no extended warrenty on this motor as it is a leftover 2005, with a discount. I did my home work, and I am happy you all confrimed that what I thought is OK. Quiet and vibrationless efficiency beats speed any day. Thanks.
