But of tides and ramps are not a issue bunks are better as they require a lot less maintenance.

Well........ down at this ramp and that ramp....... guys show up early am and can't launch - they have to wait hours till they can float off using the bunk trailers. All that planning, packing, anticipation etc to sit and wait ...while the roller guys drop their boats and off they go.
I had bunk, I've had ( have ) roller and guess I'm not comfortable wondering if I can get out and back in. With the roller trailer I don't even have to submerge the trailer like a submarine. But hey - any boat and trailer that works is better than no boat and trailer.
