This gives me the option also, of changing the main motor height to 25" if I want, also I'm raising on side to accommodate my XXL shaft kicker.

Any suggestions?
Hey Robert . . . That will work for a temp fix, but I wouldn't run it like that more than 1 season especially with a kicker. Use a dougfir 2x6 cut down to size and sandwich it b/w the aluminum plates. Make sure the plate is really wide (to distribute the load) and that all the bolts are backed with plates. I ran my seacraft like that for 3 seasons, but the wood was good in my transom . . . The previous owner just used the aluminum to raise the transom 5".

Here's a link to a transom that I am almost finished with . . . This will probably be the easiest way to fix yours.

Also . . . Composites One in West Sacramento has the best deals on materials and resins. Good Luck!!
