Interesting boat. The support structure looks like there was some sound thinking. Those arms that tie the inside transom face to the deck look good, but it will pull up on the floor. There would have to be some structural members added that attach to the underside of the floor and tie into the stringers to "pull downward" on the deck. I think you'd be a nut to have that setup for reasons already stated, but I wouldn't call you a stark raving lunatic.

With twins, you have to overcome performance penalties, because of weight and drag. So much so that having twins is more a power-rendundancy benefit than anything. That can be important, too, if you fish/boat where help has a long way to come. A boat with twin 100s doesn't perform as well as one with a single 200. It'd run (top end, cruise, etc.) more like a single 175.
