6 cylinder chevy
Hey guys -
wellcraft newb here. I am looking at a late 70's 20 steplift. The boat originally had a mercruiser 470 4 cylinder in it with a mercruiser outdrive.
Right now it has a 6 cylinder 250 ci chevrolet in it. The outdrive is the original, but rebuilt.
My question, is the chevy a good engine, is it a common swap? Are parts cheap for it?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated
