I just replaced my 1994 Yamaha 150 with a 2004 . It was a great motor . I only had minor problems with it over the years . I don't think that you will go wrong.

We had a 1974 when I was a kid . It had the plastic letters . They got broken off after about a year . In 1976 they started using the decals and we replaced them with those . It was the same logo...

I would not use the assetone very often . I have been told that in time it will brake down the gelcoat . There are some mild dewaxers out there that are made for vinyl floors that will work very well...

My guess is the cost is a bit higher due to the extra colors . . I would buy either one , I too think that the large V20 on the back and small Wellcraft logo over a pocket may be the way to go .

To me that is a classic . I have owned a step & a fish , in the summer I'm glad I own the CC . In the winter I find myself wishing that I had a steplift . You don't see many of the pre-77 fishermen ....

Regidog , If you look at the picture off the CC in the 1977 catalog you will notice the fuel fill mid way up the starboard side . Prior to 1977 the tank on the CC was in the console and you filled it...
