Scuppers/Bilge Pump Question
Finally got the boat out today the new motor runs great a lot more bottom end to it. I had 2 problems today, one I have the ball scuppers and they became clogged and would not seal with Maple tree...

I don't know where you guys got the idea that I don't have a safety chain on the winch post? I have a heavy duty galvanized chain on the post.
I using a strap because it does not have any u-bolts on...

More Starboard?
My 74 has a Seacast transom and a 4 inch setback jackplate . The transom when the previous owner had it pored for some reason they left it a 20 inch transom. Now when I tilt the motor all the way up...

Do I need a bracket?
I was going to buy a bracket for the kicker 8 HP Nissan but it hangs nicely from the transom with no interference from anything, is it OK to run the kicker like that?
