I've got a few things done in the past few weeks. Trying to be ready for the water by this weekend for the BB raft-up. It won't be finished completely by then but it should have the essentials....

look at cable about a foot or two from transom...
look at cable about a foot or two from transom end, there should be a part # on it. last 2 numbers are length. Usually in inches. Round up a foot or two if your not sure, you can always put a loop in...

Thanks for all the info guys. I just got price for 5" extention kit from Bay Mfg in Ohio $510. So I guess Ill put some time into seeing what the motor needs to run. It looks to be a freshwater motor...
