walk-thru windshields

May be a dumb question, but does anyone know why Wellcraft used those ugly windshields (imo) with the rectangular side glass on the walk-thru V20's instead of using the same set up as the cuddy? No...

I went to the Dusky website several months ago...

I went to the Dusky website several months ago and realized the 227 is a V20 with a bracket. I was pumped until I clicked on "Build a Boat" and it starts with the bare hull and you go from there....

Does anyone have any personal recommendations for repair shops (transom, floor, stringers) in the Tampa Bay area?

I can find loads of V20's here but they all need repair.

Thanks for the info Therm. The 200 Yamy sounds like the way to go. I live right near Terra Ceia Bay. I launch into the Manatee River and fish Tampa Bay / Skyway area a lot.
