Control cables
Not sure how your cables are routed but the lenght should be stamped near the end. I just installed new cables and they came in 14, 16, 18, etc foot lengths.

Skool's, I had a tractor about that size, It really helped when I installed wheel weights. Cub Cadet weights fit the standard wheel bolt pattern.

If you are happy with the height and design of your console then cut out the entire top flat panel and replace it with lexan or plywood and glass over it. This is likely easier, better and quicker...

Many bar tops are finished in clear epoxy. I might think about sanding it with 400 grit and giving it a coat of clear epoxy to seal it.
