Question type of wood recomendation

when i took my stringers out instead of plywood they used 3/4 trim boards as i would call them or 1x10 material and cut to fit the hull what im asking is which is better for the epoxy fiberglass...

ok so its doable is what im seing and even a 5.7 or 5.0 is doable engine tag says motor and drive no more than 950 lbls together im gonna get it weighed out both ways but probably go 305 or 5.0...
