Ok Got the pic for you!! Started right up!!
Not pretty but if we can fish I no care!! 1988 Evinrude 175hp http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/2_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/3_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/6_G.jpg The white tape is for holding the fuse in there for the test, I had to make the wire harness longer and for got to disconnect the battery before cutting the wire *:o I did not have a short 20 amp fuse so I used a long for now. http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/7_G.jpg I did not have a power tilt switch on the control so for the moment I ran the wire and made my own remote switch I can use from inside and out side *;D *Will get 2 new switches in the spring, for dash and motor http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/8_G.jpg Stainless prop 14 1/2 X 17 *I will have to see what it does?? I had a 15 X 15 1/4 on the others and that gave me pleanty of toruq when I have 800 pound fish and 3 guys onboard!! http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/9_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/20_G.jpg Brand new hydrofoil!! http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/21_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/19_G.jpg ----------------------------------------------------------------- While waiting around for a motor, I fixed the bow were I hit a rock *:-[ *But I have no pic of the damage. also a new coat of bottom paint. Also removed the Bow Rail and fixed all holes. http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/12_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/13_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/14_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/17_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/11_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/10_G.jpg http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/15_G.jpg OK we are ready for ther water!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *See what happens this week end for weather?? http://syncboard.com/albums/Boat-Tackle-Box/16_G.jpg |

i think it looks great on ya boat! congrats MJ...you deserve a full day of catching fish now! go get em!

Re: Maco's New motor +
You deserve some good luck MJ. I'd part out the Yamaha. You should get $200 for the cowling alone. Then there's prop, lower unit, carbs etc.
|
Re: Maco's New motor +
Good luck MacoJoe
Install looks great. What was wrong with the yamaha that you had installed before. |
Re: Maco's New motor +
MJ congrate on the new install and best wishes. Keep us posted with all those fish you catch.
HAVE FUNN. |
Re: Maco's New motor +
I can't male out name on bracket? Doing research for mine?
|
Re: Maco's New motor +
Trying to save MJ a few key strokes cause he's a busy man...His replacement Yam came apart on the maiden voyage, no need to rehash that one...The Bracket is a Stainless Marine Gil Bracket I'm pretty sure.
