this sounds like a good time. You guys can count me in. The wife doesn't take long road trips too good. I'm going to have to give her a tranquilizer or something but we'll get there. Hey Willy, too bad my trailer isn't a bunk I would take both our boats at once. It's long enough and can handle almost 10k lbs.

Wow, that would be a land train!

time changes the seconded weekend in March, so we will get that benefit with our currnet dates. I'm ging to warn you guys again, if you're tring for just a three day weekend, you're going to leave wanting much more. If any one wants to arrive earlier in the week, I'm thinking about a run from Lake Moultrie down to the harbour.Friday morning thing. Its about 50 miles by water. ramps are plentiful, I can get some one to shuttle us all back to the trucks after we tie up downtown. Any one have a specific idea or site they want to see, speak up, I'll get the details for you

So we are talking the weekend of the 25/26th it seems.. I have every intention of going but I'll be flyin solo. Being that the wife works in a school aint no such thing really as vacation days when you only work 180 to start with.

I proposed the weekend of the 19th, Luberslinger is pushing for the 25th. Either one will work for me. Ya'll cehck your schedlues and see what will work.

Unfortunately, where I live is in a flood zone. End of March thru all of April is prime time for spring floods. It usually is just an annoyance for me (access roads closed kinda thing) but we've had two really nasty floods in the last 4 years. Last year, due to a sump pump failing and a faulty gasket on a barrier I awoke to 24" of water in my basement. I'm still counting losses and repairing damage from that flood. Bottom line is I simply cannot take the chance of being away from the house during that time period. I'd love to go, but I'll have to pass.

the week of the 25 th or the week before is fine but we need to make it concrete as my wife will be taking time off from work and will need notice.. as for me I'm the chief cook and bottle washer so I can take time when ever I want as long as my wife says its ok ....hahaha

so with that said 25/26 th is my final vote .
