Ping/pong scuppers - well yeah that sounds good I think. Although I've never done the research to see what's available other than what I've seen on this site. The one's on the back are only for the splashwell. The ones for the deck come out on the sides, which are not visible in the picture. |
Re: Yo Blue_Runner....

"So far so good on that - haven't had a problem. I think its high time that I inspect all of my thru hulls and the scuppers though. I'm getting some water in the hull - not much at all - but it bugs me and I want to find the source."-Blue Runner
BR - I get water too and I think its from under the rub rails forward of the windshield. I was out in the ocean just flying through the rolling waves, marveling as the spray that flew out from the side as the V cut through the waves. When I got to the inlet my v-berth fabric was soaked. I didn't take any waves over the windshield so it had to be the rub rail. Also, check the valve that sucks in the water for saltwater washdown. Its accesible through the rear deck access port, next to the bilge. At least that's where it is next to mine. Another idea, I noticed the rod holders drain into the bilge. They have these little guide tubes that sometimes fall off. Buckley |
