(always a good idea with any chemicals).. look for a yellow can with black writing in the paint section of HD. Actually, if you're going to do a test, they sell it in smaller cans than 1 gallon.. you might want to get a small one for a test before investing in a gallon size. :head:

putty knives work real good, take it easy, let the stripper do the work, do small areas at a time(couple of square feet), try not to let the stripper dry on the boat, use paint thinner with steel wool to get the last bit off. Pull plastic under the hull to let the crap fall off on to it.
