I finally got my Durabak today and while reading the instructions i noticed it said, "for optimal bonding to fiberglass use Metacote primer ...." Is this really necesary? What if i dont use it? And how come it didn't say a single thing on the website about using Metacote?

I did not use any primer!! And I don't remember them saying it either?? Just be sure to sand and clean all with the Xlinen stuff before painting and I would say you are fine!

I'll stick up for ya MJ,
I had an old boss that couldn't spell to save his soul.
He would always tell people that it takes a sick mind to spell a word only one way.
