Hammer, you're right. He said as much in the ad: "there has been some fiberglass added to the transom"

If all he did was cover over an issue, could be a problem. But if he simply chose to reinforce it, could be good...

I do like it though...

He must have added one foot to the transom, because the boat in the pic is a 17' Wellcraft. precursor to the 18' like Kajuns.

I was going to say that as well, but wasn't quite sure. I'm somewhat sure that is a '70's Wellcraft.

The V18 Sport/Fisherman et al had the nice "Carolina Flare" to the side profile like the V20. You know..........that sweet sweep to the rub rail that we all love to drool over. They also had the raised coaming cap above the rub rail instead of being flat like the one in that ad.

yup CB..i noticed that too..another thing is that puny trailer is not big enough to hold a 18 sport/fisherman...my 18sport weights 2200lbs dry...as much as the earlier v20's.....
