My deck drains arrived from T/H Marine. Happy as hell.
Seen a few on E-Bay, but they are to deep and strike the hull. The depth. of this one is only 2.5 inches.
Has a ball inside as well for back flow.

Hammer, let me know how they work out. The reason I didn't go that way is becasue of the different hose size, but I really like the backflow prevention.

I also have a tee valve scupper inline. Coming off the hull scupper. Back up is nice. ;D
I didnt like these at first but no choice. Will be using a 1 inch line from the hull that changes to a 1.5 hose that attaches to the deck drain.

Completed deck drain. Note I have the deck drain with the ball valve, and also the inline valve as well,
Dont mind all the hose clamps. I heard that anything below the water line should be secured twice. So I went to town ;D ;D

That Looks like an excellent job. Cant be too safe with these things as many a boat has sunk because of cracked hoses and rusted clamps . I plug mine from the outside when I am in the ocean unless its raining and unplug them at the dock so the rain water can get out or when its on the lift. I do leave the motor well drains open all the time. Frank
