it doesn't have to be a 1988 to 1992 they 1988 to 2001 non etech wil fit only different plugs cut the 93 up plugs off and put spade tips on you are good to go. i just bought a brand new one for my 1990 Evin/John 225 for $35 off ebay and it was for a 1999 model 200. they are actually better cause the have better heat resistance. i have a stator off a 1989 but unsure of it's condition. where in eastern NC are you? I'll be at Emerald Isle this weekend.

I'm in Greenville/Farmville, will head to the beach this weekend if the wind finally stops blowing. ;D
Are you saying that any Non DFI 200 HP up stator will work if I change the connectors ?

as long as it's a looper V6 200 or 225 some 250 V6's as well with 35 amp charge system will fit from 1987 some all 1988 to 2001. just needs the ends made into spade tips for your app. you sure yours is bad and that the rectifier isn't the issue? or the flywheel i've seen the flywheels get warm athe magnets will actually go bad by loosing some of their magnitism. must be a not fuel injection motor. carb motors.
