.....inside the float bowl of my Rochester carb. 3 times now the jet/port whatever ya call it that the needle valve shuts off by the float has loosened up dropped down a bit *and caused the bowl to starve for fuel, causing the motor to only idle. I've tightened it up real good but, I 'spose the vibration is too much. I tho't I'd put some threadlock but, dunno if the gas will dissolve it post haste. Any thoughts? TIA

I know they make thread locker stuff that is impervious to solvents but don't know if that is how you are supposed to correct that.

well it might work? I hate to see you add something in there and it melt and clog something else!!
How about getting a star washer?? They are thin and that just might do it for you? Its only 1/16 inch
Just a thought.

Hammerhead, the little bit of Lok-Tite you'll use on that screw won't have any ill effects...after 3 times (this'll be the 4th), I'd put LT and a star-washer if it'll fit... ;D...
