is it computer controled? if so you have a temp sensor bad some where or a temp sensor wire burning to ground some where when it warms up

It's definately computer controlled, MERCRUISER PCM 555. It acts to me like a CTS that is out of range because it is lean all the time. But when it goes into warm engine mode and lean out for normal running it stalls. But I thought the fuel pressure was supposed to be around 45-48 on the MPI, I'm only getting 36. This would lean it out as well, but I don't have a book yet to get the specs.

ON EDIT: I just went up and restarted it after it had sat for about 2 hours, run perfect ???. Now to try and figure out the warm engine and warning light.

Took it in and had it scanned, came back as a MAP sensor fault. $101.65 to have it scanned and another $216.05 + tax for the sensor :o. OUCH!!!!

Well I'll find out WEDNSEDAY if this fix's it or not. Nobody keeps the MAP in stock so it has to come out of MERCURY corporate.
