Thought this would be fun.

No one can post a boat until this one is ID'd. That person will post the next boat.

What is it? You need to name the Make and what length, model not necessary.

Well. In order to "cheat", one must first have an idea of who the manufacturer was in the first place. No? ;D
So, if I think it's a Seamaster, then hop on over to Ebay, traderonline, or wherever to confirm my guess, I wouldn't call that cheating. Would you? ::) ;D ;D ;D

top speed 11 knots.

chumbucket
12-13-2006, 06:16 PM
26" is correct.
Those numbers are close. ;D
Actually, I repowered it to dump the original GM 250/6cyl and OMC. I glassed the transom to convert to Mercruiser I/O with GM 350 and Alpha OD. Went pretty decent. Should have coupled it to a Bravo drive for more prop. Gas consumption was horrid. :o
Fishing space was enormous and stable as hell. 8) Nice hardtop enclosure for all weather fishing. ;)

phatdaddy
12-16-2006, 10:42 AM
15 ft Cabo

The on skools posted is a layfette net boat.
Very popular in louisana. They pile the net on the rear platform so it is easy to pull in and set out. It's an inboard so the prop won't interfer with the net.

TheTinMan
12-16-2006, 10:54 AM
Mako 15?

Hmmm..I'd say perhaps a 1974 model 151 with a 1999 Yamaha 50 4s and a 2006 Continental trailer, looks like it was serviced maybe in Feb. 06....By the color of the house and the St. Augustine grass and that hedge, I'd say that the boat is located in Ft. Lauderdale...just a wild guess though ;D

Close in design to Whaler, but subtle differences. I worked for Whaler way back when they were in my home town. 8)

CB, are you familar with the "Dell Quay" ,I think, it is a British knock off of a Whaler. I have a 66 13 ft whaler that we scallop out of.

chumbucket
12-16-2006, 01:38 PM
Yeah. I'm familiar with them. There's a couple in my neighborhood. Everyone calls them a Whaler knockoff, but to be honest, the similarities end at it being a cathedral hull. I personally see distinct differences that make them easy to distinguish from a Whaler. I don't know much else about them regarding quality or seaworthy capabilities, so I wouldn't want to comment any further on them. Probably as wet as any other cathedral hull though. ;D
