Hey SKOOL, ah....you ever melt the tips on your plasma cutter ???. I must have been cutting to slow or to close and the tip crowned from the heat. :-/

Looking good!
After you frame it are you planking it or do you have some flat sheets laying around?
I did a trailer years ago, There was a oil tank co. near by, went to there none gated yard at night no one there helped my self to a few sheets, worked great!!
But that stuff was like pig metal cut like crap with torch.
This was before plasma cutters.

Wire does such a pretty weld... I was going to guess 6013 stick... but wire makes more sense. I don't have a wire unit, or a plasma torch for that matter, so I'd probably have gone with 6011 to cut through any rust or contamination.. but I'm jealous of anyone that's got mig or tig.

Am I missing something or is there a 3 year lapse since the last post on this project?

yeah i've been busy on other projects and getting married last fall so been awhile but getting there. heck i've rebuilt so many motors in the last yr i think it is the only task lately even got a call tonight from a lodge brother that blew up his 15 hp Johnson so i'm going to rebuild it starting next week. just finished a 200 hp evinrude for one of our members and finished a 15 hp mercury for another brother too. had to rebuild my Deere 265 this yr it quit plus rebuilt my dads Deere LX188 and he has another Deere 285 with the kaw water cooled 22 hp to rebuild now.

I hear ya Skools. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't questioning your ability. I don't think I could ever get 1/10th of what I've seen you do just on this forum even if I had two lifetimes to do it in.
I've got things I started over three years ago too and haven't completed. I just hope that the Admiral doesn't start bugging me about when I'm going to finish them!
