Here we go guys, all the reels have new line, tackle has been checked, gassed up the boat. Got enough time on the motor finally. Satuurday morning @ 6:30 she goes in the river hunting Tarpon, Reds and Snook!!! Hopefully I'll have something to report later this weekend.

Well we went out today and tried several different spots, got into some mangrove snappers while pitching live shrimp. We really were looking for some tarpon and snook. Fished the mangroves, but no luck. Blue was right, we shoulds been in position at sunup. Oh well!!!
Wanted to fish the Lagoon and the inlet but they had a festival and a tournament in Sebastian. Couldn't even get close to the ramps or the hot spots. But we didn't give up easy, put about 40 miles on the boat, fished from just after 7:00 am and finally put her on the trailer at 4:00 pm. Was great fun, just not much success catching. Guess thats why they call it fishing!!!!
Did I mention that we were in shorts and t shirts!!! Even got sunburned. It's tough here in Florida!!!

Franco, its hard to get there early. For some reason, no matter how early I get up something always comes up and I end up on the water at 9am! ::) Its crazy how that happens. I've been doing a little better lately though.

I am glad to hear that Blue, I thought it was just me, I get up in pitch dark by the time I get to the ramp and go thru the launch thing it is 8:30 9. I guess I have to get up at 4:30 to get out there early ::)
