03.16.2019 - Salt water fishing show

On Saturday, Lloyd, Michael and I went to the Salt Water show and as usual it was mobbed. Michael and I didn't need too much but Lloyd needed to get a new stick and a few other things. He asked me how I liked my ACID STICK, I told him I loved it, so that's what he bought the ACID STICK. I also told him that if he didn't like it I would by it from him. Stopped by Captain Bob of the new Lady Flamingo and he gave a hello to MoJoe. I've been fishing off the Flaming since his Father Captain Walter was running the boats, good boat out of Sheepshead Bay. One other thing, the food there is terrible. When the show was in Somerset, the food was pretty good, for a show, but in Raritan it looked like dog food. It was a fun day!!

My wife and I go to a couple different shows in Raritan, like the gem show and the flower show. The food is awful and overpriced. We usually bring something with us and eat in the car. :head:

Glad you guys had a good time. You never did tell us how you liked that new (last year) Acid stick Giorgio. Glad to hear it's working for you. I guess you didn't get it with the anti-croaker option? :head:

You have to know to go to Harold's after the show for corned beef.

Skunk, You are right, but I'm not standing on any line for over an hour for food, the line was outside and along the side. By the show selling crappy food, that makes Harold's the place to go after the show. I've been going to Harold's for many moons, they are good but it isn't worth the wait any more, especially when your hungry. I thought it was me, because I'm an old fart and don't have the patience any longer, but Michael and Lloyd said the same.
