Wanted: 15 inch lower for Johnson/Evinrude 35 hp

Does anyone have a 15" lower that would fit a 1984 Johnson 35 hp?

I think a lower from any 2 cylinder OMC with thru prop exhaust will work (20 to 40 hp maybe?), but not for sure...maybe the OMC experts could help out on what may fit.

Anyway, if you have one, or a bad motor with a good lower let me know.

I would have a 20" lower to trade if someone wanted to do that as well.

Well, after doing some looking on the internet, it seems like 1984-2002 20hp to 35hp are all the same lower, but the midsection is where the length is either 15" or 20".

Any OMC experts confirm this?

I thought I was on Screamandfly.com when I saw the request for a 15" mid. LOL. Wish I could help. While not an OMC expert, I always thought the 20-35hp motors fit the same mids which were the 15" or 20". Best of luck in your quest.
