Headed out this morning 4 30 am, got to the fish at 5 15, jiged me up some Scup and started live lining them for Stripers, got 7 total fish, all keepers, (28+) Largest was just 21# all the rest were 12 to 15 pounds.

After that went for the Fluke, the bite wasn't bad and i ended up with about 30 keepers? Will know better when I start to clean them.

No one was able to go today so I went alone, I met some friends in there boat on the Fluke gounds, they did as good as I did with the Fluke and there were 2 of them.

Going to have to start Fluking eariler the next time, and leave the bass alone!

I hate to clean fiash the same day I catch them!! I am so tired, burned, just drawn right out when I get home!

My photo hosting site is down right now but I will get some pic's of fish up soon!

Sounds like you had a productive day. Where were you fishing? Bass and Fluke have not made it to the bay yet, that I have heard. I am almost done with the repairs, including my trailer, so maybe it is time to launch her on the south side while on vacation in a couple of weeks.

Good catch! I tried something new the last time I cleaned fish which really speeded things up. I used an electric knife to make all the cuts through the skin and scales. It cut through them very fast and saved the sharp knife for removing the meat.

Did I say I hate the Bay?? Well I do!!

I have only fished Vinyard sound so far this year, I plan on being there tomorrow again!!

I can fish Tue, Wed, & Thur every week, I never fish week ends !!

We will have to meet up sometime!!

A friend bought me one for Xmas, He used it for some Scup and told me it worked like crap.

Well I got my first use of it this morning while I was cleaning Fluke, and I thought it worked great!!
You see I have Diabetes bad and my hands have gotten bad, takes for ever to fillet fish!!

But this was the ticket!! I bet with a little practice I will be able to do as good as a regular knife!!
But the electric knife is unforgiving!! You make a mistake and its like putting the fish thur a grinder! I learned that real quick!! ;)
