I triied to fix most of the stress cracks. The boat really wasn't as bad as alot of other boats I've seen. Considering the boat is 31 years old not bad.

Hey Wolf, any interest in these 1" stainless steel rail fittings? I will practically give them to you if you are. I had someone ask about them and I wanted to check with you first. Nice work on them stress cracks too..

If that doesn't stop them you will have to go to each end of the crack and drill a hole this will end the crack. That's how we do it on naval ships/subs when we run across them.

No thank you I think I'm going to have a local guy make a custom rail.

Thank you for the offer..

Got you no problem. When I purchased the fittings I was not aware that rails could be all welded by custom fab shops. It is a cleaner look without all the fittings. If anyone needs some let me know. I was shocked when I went into West Marine and they were selling stainless rail fittings for $24.99 ea.
